Travel information

The Conference will be held at Bishop Grosseteste University, Longdales Road, Lincoln.

Lincoln is situated in the heart of Lincolnshire, in close proximity to Nottingham, in the East Midlands. It is well connected to the rest of the UK and is easily accessible by road, train, bus and is within 50 miles of three airports (East Midlands, Doncaster, Leeds Bradford). Connections to Manchester International Airport can be made via Sheffield, and to London via Newark Northgate.

Travelling by car

Some parking is available at BGU on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travelling from the North to Lincoln:   via the A15 (Hull) or via the A46 (Grimsby)

Travelling from the South to Lincoln:   via the A46 (Leicester, Nottingham, Newark) or via the A1 and A15 (London, East Anglia)

Travelling from the East to Lincoln:      via the A158

Travelling from the West to Lincoln:     via the A1 and A57 (Leeds, Worksop, Sheffield)

Travelling by train

There are direct connections to Lincoln provided by East Midlands Trains (route map here), Virgin Trains East Coast (route map here) and Northern Rail (route map here) which run regularly throughout the day from Doncaster, Gainsborough, Leicester, London, Nottingham, Peterborough, Sheffield and Sleaford.
